Being an old squad car, there is evidence of the mods the cop shop did. One that always bugged me was the mangled weather stripping on the back doors where the barrier was installed. It looked like a deranged beaver did the work. There was jagged metal sticking out, I was always afraid of tetanus. I grabbed some weather stripping from a junked '99 that I thought would fit. Tonight I installed it. Surprisingly it was about three inches longer. Better longer than shorter though. Just a utility knife and a few bend back and forth and it was the right length.
