After replacing the bumper absorber and finishing the suspension work, I started replacing the front bumper. The original auto body quote wanted to use a used part for quite a bit of money. It seemed extraordinarily high. I decided to try an eBay part I saw lots of online, even though I was warned. I found the cheapest one I could find, with the best pictures, from a well ranked vendor, and decided to go for it. For $89 plus free shpping, it seemed like a good risk compared to $400. The part came primered black, even though that wasn't listed, and well wrapped in bubble wrap, plastic sheeting, and additional paper cushioning. It fit rather well, but did need some seam cleanup here and there, and some sticker adhesive removed. The part was slightly different in how it was attached to the body, so I had to drill out some pop rivets and add some cushioning here and there.
